TWG Motorsports, a major player in multiple motorsports leagues, will have its teams racing coast-to-coast this weekend, with involvement in NASCAR, IndyCar, and Formula E. The busy schedule is a key moment for the organization as it showcases its expanding influence in motorsports.

TWG Motorsports' coast-to-coast showcase
TWG Motorsports, the powerhouse behind several major racing teams, will have a packed weekend of action across the United States, starting with NASCAR and ending in California with a variety of motorsports events. Dan Towriss, CEO of both TWG Motorsports and Group 1001, will be overseeing the group’s involvement in a busy weekend that includes participation in NASCAR, Formula E, IMSA, and IndyCar.

Towriss will first head to Bristol Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Truck Series race, where Spire Motorsports’ drivers Rajah Caruth and Andres Perez will be joined by NASCAR star Kyle Larson. Following that race, Towriss will head to Miami for the Formula E race at Homestead-Miami Speedway to support TWG’s team, which includes drivers Jake Dennis and Nico Müller. Towriss will finish the weekend in Long Beach, California, where he will attend both the IMSA sports car race and the IndyCar race, before rounding out his schedule by catching a Los Angeles Dodgers game, a team that is also majority-owned by TWG Global.

TWG’s growing motorsports influence
TWG’s involvement spans multiple high-profile motorsports leagues. The group owns the controlling interest in Andretti Global, a major team in IndyCar, as well as the upcoming Cadillac Formula 1 team, which is set to debut next season. Additionally, they have stakes in Andretti Formula E and Wayne Taylor Racing’s sports car program, with Spire Motorsports representing them in NASCAR.

The organization’s rise comes at a pivotal moment, as Towriss takes the reins from Michael Andretti. Towriss is honoring the Andretti legacy by maintaining the Andretti name, further solidifying the brand as a significant force in motorsports. This weekend marks a rare occurrence in the racing calendar, with four TWG teams competing across multiple disciplines on the same weekend.

Cadillac’s Formula 1 debut and IndyCar developments
The highlight for TWG Motorsports is the upcoming Formula 1 debut of the Cadillac-branded team, which is expected to make its official introduction at the Miami Grand Prix next month. While no drivers have been confirmed yet, speculation is growing that Red Bull’s Sergio Perez may join the lineup after being bought out of his contract. IndyCar’s Colton Herta is also closely tied to the F1 program, though his immediate focus remains on the IndyCar Championship and the Indianapolis 500. Herta, who considers Long Beach his home race, has put his F1 ambitions on hold as he aims for success on the IndyCar circuit. He enters this weekend ranked eighth in the standings, with his strong second-place finish at Long Beach last year still fresh in his mind.

A unique weekend for motorsports fans
This weekend will be one of the most exciting and packed in recent memory for motorsports fans, with TWG Motorsports at the center of it all. From NASCAR’s high-speed action at Bristol to the technical challenges of Formula E and the high-profile races in IMSA and IndyCar, the weekend offers a chance to see some of the biggest names and rising stars across a variety of racing disciplines, all under the banner of TWG Motorsports.
