The Buffalo Bills have extended quarterback Josh Allen's contract through 2030 with a historic six-year, $330 million deal that includes $250 million guaranteed. This extension strengthens their commitment to Allen after his MVP season and ensures his presence as a key player in their quest for AFC dominance.

The Buffalo Bills have solidified their franchise cornerstone by signing quarterback Josh Allen to a monumental contract extension that will keep the starsignal-caller in western New York through 2030, the team announced Sunday.

According to multiple reports, the agreement is a six-year, $330 million extension that includes $250 million in guaranteed money - establishing a new NFL record for guaranteed compensation. The landmark deal surpasses Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson's previous high mark of $230 million guaranteed, which was signed in 2022.

The extension caps an extraordinary period for the 28-year-old Allen, who claimed his first NFL Most Valuable Player award just last month after leading the Bills to the AFC Championship game. The timing of the announcement coincidentally came on the same day the Cleveland Browns agreed to a new four-year deal with defensive end Myles Garrett, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history at $40 million annually with $123.5 million guaranteed.

Allen demonstrated his elite dual-threat capabilities during his MVP campaign, passing for more than 3,700 yards while adding another 531 yards on the ground. He accounted for 40 total touchdowns while orchestrating one of the league's most dynamic offenses.

Since being selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft from the University of Wyoming, Allen has developed into one of the premier talents in football. His resume now includes three Pro Bowl selections and two All-Pro honors as he continues to cement his legacy in Buffalo.

The unprecedented financial commitment from the Bills' organization reflects their confidence in Allen as their franchise quarterback and signals their determination to remain championship contenders in the highly competitive AFC for years to come.
