Teddi Mellencamp, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, has shared an encouraging update about her battle with cancer, revealing that all of her brain and lung tumors have either "shrunk" or "disappeared." The 43-year-old took to social media on Wednesday to express her optimism as she continues her treatment journey.

In a video posted on Instagram, Mellencamp explained that she had just completed a series of scans, with promising results. The tumors, which were originally classified as stage 4, had significantly reduced in size, much to the relief of both Mellencamp and her medical team. "Doctors think that means this all will work and that I will be back to myself and feeling good," she said, holding onto hope for a full recovery.

Though the treatment is not over yet, Mellencamp expressed confidence in the process. She mentioned that she still has two more sessions of immunotherapy to complete, after which she hopes to be cancer-free. In the caption accompanying the video, she noted that she has about six weeks of treatment remaining, and that her doctors are optimistic about her healing, provided everything continues on course.

Mellencamp maintained a positive outlook, quoting her doctor’s encouraging words: "You did this, you got this." She also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from her fans and followers. "Thank you to everyone who has sent their love, prayers, and positivity," she wrote.

Mellencamp's cancer journey began in February, when she sought medical attention for severe headaches, leading to emergency brain surgery. Subsequent scans revealed tumors in her lungs. She was first diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma in 2022 and had undergone treatment to remove the skin cancer. In September, her 16th melanoma spot was removed. However, by March, Mellencamp shared that the tumors were metastases of her melanoma, and her cancer had progressed to stage 4.

At the time, she also revealed that her father, legendary musician John Mellencamp, had begun making burial arrangements, a sobering sign of the gravity of her condition.

Despite the challenges, Mellencamp's current update brings hope that her fight against cancer is moving in the right direction. With her upcoming treatments, she remains determined to stay positive and continue her recovery.
